Montana mule deer threads.
I just looked at my Facebook. Of the first 10 posts on my feed I personally knew 1 person. 2 were groups that I’m in, and the other 7 were posts that Facebook thought I would like and was suggesting I follow the page.Years ago I got onto Facebook to reconnect with friends from college, and family, who are spread all over the country. But it seems like lately "the news feed" is what really dominates. I'm sure fed the algorithm by clicking on an article here and there. But my goodness has it all gotten so toxic - whether it's Sydney Sweeney or Karmelo Anthony or Sophie Cunningham or who/whatever.
I realized most of my family and old friends don't even post about their lives and kids anymore and I just decided to drop it. I took FB off my phone a couple months ago and I'm happier for it. My crappy old Android phone doesn't really have the space for it anyway.
But just for fun, what do folks here feel are manufactured issues and divisions across hunting that, at the end of the day, are meaningless?
.
"suddenly my social media feed..."I’ve been giving lots of thought recently to the concept of manufactured outrage, a loosely defined term that I would say means overhyping a small (often non-) issue as a means to provoke. Our current political climate is one thing, but it leaks into so many areas of public life, most recently with all the stupid discourse surrounding Sydney Sweeney. I could not care less, yet suddenly my social media feed won’t stop dumping a whole lot of articles going back and forth over nothing.
There’s certainly plenty of real outrage in the hunting space over the myriad of issues we face—as other threads demonstrate. But just for fun, what do folks here feel are manufactured issues and divisions across hunting that, at the end of the day, are meaningless?
Please keep it civil.

Rent a porta John, you cheapskate! How. Dare. You! Good day to you sir.
I can tell everyone something that isn’t faux outrage. Pissed in bottles left on a jobsite for the super to clean up. That outrage is real and always predictable.
Yah and they all get a voice to be broadcast now. There are more stupid people now days than educated, by far .
Drywallers ?How. Dare. You! Good day to you sir.
