Have to get my fill of oyoa and some other sites in the next day.they're acting like a hurricane is gonna hit or something.i'll only catch the edge of it,but they are still pretty intense.Last time, trees were down all over and major flooding so I expect to be without power on Sunday.Hope anyone living along the coast in NC makes it thru OK.I've been in the real thing in Florida before, and I definitely wouldn't want to be living along the coast from Nc and north right now

Dad (general contractor superintendent) is building a small building in Wilmington NC about 2 miles from the beach and is almost finished after months on the job. He had to bring everything home (Charlotte area) yesterday just to be on the safe side. He`s ready to get finished and move on to the next job, but worried this will be a major set back. Lots of people could loose a lot more than that.

Been thru it many times growing up in Southern Louisiana. When I was a kid it was exciting...grown up it's not too much fun at all.

You guys can eat some of your Mountain House reserves. I suspect you are already stocked for your MT trip.

Good Luck...thoughts are with you guys on the east coast.

I wouldn't even think about that trip for Sunday/Monday.Highways might not be bad but other roads will be.I remember the last one that came thru about 12 years ago.My normal hour ride home took over 4 hours.Every time I got on a road it was closed for fallen trees or flooding

Sorta What I figured also. I have to deliver a load in Assonet Mass mon then get one out of NH but they won't spoil. Ill just reschedule for another day. I can still work no big deal. May just take my other trailer and haul a couple loads in the meantime. Then call and schedule delivery later in the week.
