SW Michigan and we still some grass poking thru. Last day of deer season so maybe we will track one down this afternoon.

Last year we had a couple inches for Thanksgiving. This year it was 74*, yesterday it hit 72*.

Not bad yet. Small, dry snow that's blowing. Ditches are almost full and a few normal drifts in my yard. Warming up a little and the flakes are getting bigger. Wind changes direction later so I'll start plowing mid-afternoon to keep the drifts from getting too big. Mainly doing my dad's place and not really worried about mine. Nowhere to go! Whatever we get is going to stay for a while.

We have over 6 inches and another 6 on the way. The shotgun deer hunters should be real happy since the first season opens next Saturday.

Iadot traffic cameras are showing some crazy stuff on i35 and i80. Tow ban on most of i80. We cancelled our trip to Des Moines tomorrow for Thanksgiving. About the only good thing about driving to Des Moines for Thanksgiving is we usually meet a few late season hunters heading east with elk racks on display.

Guess I'll gear up and see what needs to be done before it gets dark. Wind not letting up but I'll shove it downwind and maybe some of it will keep going. Once the wind shifts it will change again. Hit it again in the morning.

It was blowing around hard this morning but now it’s switched to wet and heavy. We have about 6” here I would say. Far cry from the 12 the weatherman was predicting but I guess it’s going to snow all night.

Looked like drifting on an interstate...I've seen drifts like that in very remote areas with little to no traffic.

Pushed snow for about 2 hours between the two places. Knocked down the drifts and got most parts flat again. Blowing and snowing pretty hard yet but I cleaned up enough to help with getting back to it tomorrow. Wind will turn 180 degrees overnight. Dinner in the oven and I'm ready for the recliner!
