Late Summer Bull

[375H&H]

I have been trying to get out quite a bit this summer and take pics of the critters I see in hopes of something that is worthy of hanging in our new home. I found this guy and like most moose was able to get within 15 yards and manage a few good pictures before he had had enough and started walking towards me with wide eyes.

A real nice bull that keeps enough enthusiasm within me to wait the additional 15 or so years needed to draw the moose tag in this unit.

The weather cooled off enough to hit 40 during the night and snow in the mountains which triggered the seasonal instinct that hunting is around the corner.

Palms stand like goal posts, straight up. Assuming eyes are 10 inches outside, he's in the high 40 inch wide range. Nice photos.
