Last Words

Hunt Talk Family, I want to share with you my Father-in-Law's last word before he passed away this past Friday, as told by his Physical Therapist. John

What am amazing man! I only knew Mr. Wiginton for about an week but during our time time together we got to know each other really well. He told me about his amazing wife of 62 years who he loved very much. He talked about how they met and their wedding day. He constantly spoke about his beloved four daughters and how blessed he was to have each one. But there is the one thing we talked about I will never forget. Just minutes before Mr. Wiginton left this world... he and I were talking about heaven. He looked at me with is beautiful eyes and said " I have a hard time grasping forever, we live forever", I squeezed his hand and said "me too"! Then he lifted his arm up toward the sky and went on to say " I don't understand how anyone can say there is no God", I patted his knee and said "I know, crazy huh"? We smiled.
That was the last sentence he spoke... Heaven was the last thing on his mind. I can only image how hard it is for his family during his time, but I hope they find comfort knowing that Mr. Wiginton finally understands what "forever" means.
Mr. Wiginton you will be missed and I am so thankful God brought you into my life even if it was just for a short time.
