New burn area- Elk were thick in it. They acted like it was still a thick forest walking around in plain sight.

Cool stuff. Looks like what I was doing on Monday in a nasty burn a bit further south; helping a guest hunter pack their bull out of a similar situation.

Congrats to you. Packing them out of nasty burns where the trees are starting to blow down makes for interesting adventure. Hope you "feel the burn" many more times.
