Yeah. If you are around cattle you see some stuff. Worked at the biggest dairy in the Root in high school. Cows are interesting. mtmuley

I rented a little house for 11 years on a ranch/ farm. The house had a hog wire fence around it pretty close. The greater area around the house was a 40 acre fenced parcel that periodically had about 40 head. Annually the breeding was done in this 40 acre parcel.
Cows 10' from the front door.
It was a shitshow. I saw it all.
Flies hatched inside the house all winter.
Perks...3/4 mile private drive, one neighbor. I could do as i please hunting wise.
Eventually, my wife-to-be moved in to the other rental house.
Happy ending. I built a new house in 3forks as a wedding present.
But I never forgot that bull lapping up the piss.

Yep. When the calves are shipped it's a lot of noise. We built a place for some "West Coast" folks that bordered a ranch where the shipping happens. Makes me smile. mtmuley
