The little sniper; my grandson, did it again!!!
Took him down yesterday to my buddy’s place in Pearsall TX, about 5:00 saw a doe fixing to cross into the field, she cocked her head to the left down the fence line, swung the binos that way expecting to see a buck, then saw this boy coming through the brush!
Told the little man to get ready, pointed out an opening n to aim there, when he stepped out I gave a squeal, the next thing was a happy little hunter n a proud grandad!!!!

well, I was skinning his cat out at the firehouse yesterday; going to do a felted rug, n I thought to myself, I’ve eaten n loved mtn lion, what the hell! So I boned him out,
Salt, pepper, garlic, squeeze of lemon n some chile flake.......
Damn Good!!!! Going to concoct some sort of sausage w/ the trim meat along those lines w him.
Some of the boys at the firehouse tried, some didn’t
But those who did all liked it

Some people can't get over the fact that they are eating a cat. I tried some from a cat that I trapped years back. Tasted like cat piss. Glad you liked it.

Being it tastes like veal, I’m going for a “piccata” kind of flavor. Used my base Alsatian recipe w more coriander, added fresh garlic, lemon zest, capers, and chile flake
Going to let it set up tonight, grind, taste, reseason, grind again w pork fat, then stuff
