As an Avs fan, I'm actually glad Vegas euthanized us last night. Avs were totally schooled in how to play hockey. Injuries had very little to do with the results....defense & winning puck battles in the playoffs still trumps finesse & speed.
Congrats to VGK...well-done. Looking forward to watching a great Cup finals with either team from the East.

I’d say they played like they were completely frustrated by the Canes smothering forecheck. The penalties they were taking at the end were solid evidence if that, IMO. Anderson was completely beside himself.

Plenty of guys have fought and not OD’d on prescription drugs. Folks get addicted to prescription drugs for far less than exchanging blows on the ice.

I’m jealous, haha. I love the Canes I just can’t bring myself to spend $1500+ on a ticket. Enjoy it! I hope we can bring it home. We’re playing so well right now.

Prices are insane! I was “lucky” to get in as soon as they went on sale to general public today and get my game 5 from the box office. Resales are going 2-3x+ box office price. Was not as fortunate on the game 4 ticket in Vegas .

I was at game 7 when we won in ‘06. If we’re fortunate enough to do it again, I wanna be there! I think I paid $250 for that ticket and thought that was crazy then!
