Thanks for sharing. Similar impacts on the bison hunt so it’ll be interesting to see if they decide to change things up.
 
Interesting read indeed. If the weather doesn't come in in November and the migration doesn't happen until Thanksgiving or so I could see it drastically reducing harvest. I hunted east of the elk refuge in early November and found nothing. Came back a week later after a huge storm rolled in and killed an elk immediately in the same spot. A few days prior to that we watched thousands of elk pour out of GTNP towards the refuge.

Yea I think they will probably make some changes. But all it takes is one good early winter to have harvests go up above average for a year. 794 elk is a low number tho.
