Let’s hope it was. I’m the biggest Trump hater on this website, but a lot of the military experts I listen to who also don’t like Trump seem to think this was a good move. Time will tell, but I’m of the impression that Iran only respects power, and I think they are finding out just how big the power differential is between the US and them.

I think people forget how many Americans have been killed by Iranian backed militias over the course of the GWOT.
 
You also have to think about it, it makes ZERO sense. Why would Iran or Israel not declare it first rather then a deranged old man twitting on a toilet? Trump is trying to save face because his illegal bombing failed. It didn't destroy all the facilities or the uranium. They knew they weren't building a bomb and CIA told them Iran wasn't but, now they been given a reason too. I bet because Epstein worked for Mossad and Trumps name is on his lists. He'll do anything for Mossad not to release those documents.

This seems like a positive development. Let’s hope the ceasefire goes through and the peace holds. My guess is the Iranian regime is going to be doing all they can to ensure they don’t lose their grip on power within the country. This would be an amazing time for the Iranian people to exercise collective will and implement that change internally.

Imagine a group of people upset about a possible peace deal being reached in Iran/Israel.

Insanity, and so sad on so many levels.

My guess is there are some who would love to see this drag out just to watch the administration here at home fail.
