Illinois "rewilding".

It was an amendment. It simply added to another section. That is why there were no other details. As I said, take the initiative to define what "rewinding" means, or it will get defined by someone else. You posted the website of the sponsor. Go to the bottom of the page and send her an email or give her a call. She may not be your rep, but she is close enough that she might answer. Ask her some questions. Tell her you love the idea and ask if DNR asked for this change? Who did? You would like to send them a 'Thank you'. Tell her you would like to know if she would sponsor a bill to reintroduce elk under her "rewilding" campaign and who should you talk to?

Or you can complain on the internet about how you are constantly getting screwed by the Dems...
Your comment really hit me and I decided to put my thoughts into an email where I laid out what I hoped they would do with this new focus on rewinding and I sent it to the director of the DNR and all 9 sponsors of the bill. Might be spitting in the ocean, but at least I shared my viewpoint. Thanks for your sharing yours.

Let us know if you hear back from anyone. I am certainly not saying that skepticism isn't warranted. It probably is. But the one sure way to get run over is to lay down on the track and do nothing.

I hate that spellcheck keep changing it to rewinding. Somehow rewinding is word but "rewilding" isn't?

So far just a couple of what seem like automated replies. Although one might have been a genuine reply, but it wasn't very specific as to what actions they were taking.
