If you had $9K to do a hunt................?

There are 3 hunts that I'd really like to do...2 have been mentioned. The caribou/goat with Bryan Martin would be a good one. The ibex would be another one I'd like to do.

I also think snow sheep in Russia would be a good adventure, not sure that 9k would get you there, but close. It would be fun to combine with some fishing on the Kamchatka Peninsula.

If it were me I would go to Africa and I would also like to get a job app when you get a chance just pm me with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dall

Dall for sure.

Ever since the Chugach Range in Alaska went permit, most outfitters are having their way in terms of prices going through the ceiling.

If you can find a dall hunt for 10k, you are a lucky man for sure.

I know a place with a huge chocolate fallow right now for $2500 just down the road and down another road a place with what might be the world record blackbuck for $3500. Some people have hunted him, but he hides. That totals $6000, so I have $3000 left. If I got 10% a year on an investment, I could do a $300 hunt every year for the rest of my life. Maybe I should do that with the $9K to start and have $900/year, every year, from now on.

africa. you can shoot a lot of critters for 9K. including the oft unseen dik dik.

....and Tom just what would that $300 buy you for the rest of your life?
Doesn't even cover gas on most OOS hunts these days :(

There's several hunts around here for multiple species for less than $300 including gas

What do they back up and just off load them into the backyard or something?

...be a tough shot on the fly like that!! hump

I bet that guy is hoping the ram stops before he clears the fence. It would be a bummer to just buy one, release it, and its gone before anyone got to hunt it. I've heard/read some reviews of that place, but have not seen it, except on the internet. I called them about their "free" hog hunt once and decided against it. Marv and Bambistew, they don't hunt them when they release them. Its legal to raise them in your backyard someplaces if you want to, but those aren't much good for hunting.
