Idaho spring bear hunt

My friend and I looking into going to Idaho for a spring bear hunt. We're going to go to a unit for the non resident reduced price these include 4,6,7,9, 10, 12, 16a, 17, 19, 20, 20A, 26, and 27. Was looking for some advice anybody has on these units. We talked to one of the biologist and he wasn't really that helpful at all. Thanks for the help.

How are you wanting to hunt? Baiting, spot and stalk? Pretty large variety of terrain types across those units and some are better for other types of hunting than others

26 and 27 are wilderness and a whole different adventure. I saw lots of bear sign in 26.

I'd look hard at 10 and 12 personally.
