Seriously? I understand that the permits are the State's to do whatever want with, and really like/agree with many of their management decisions. But, several of these hunts begin August 1st. All I can see waiting that long accomplishing is burning bridges with a lot of hard working hunters.

You're concerned about scouting an August 1st cow hunt? You don't need a tag to scout and plan a hunt.

Nope. But, a lot of us who work for a living need a lot more lead time to coordinate time off.

son drew a cow elk. He's not playing ball this year, so we can spend some time looking.

My kids drew mule deer buck tags for unit 14 but other than that some buttholes drew our other tags!
