I know, elk season is a long time away, but I get a kick out of looking over all the different regulation from the different states.
Looking at possable new hunting areas, seeing what tags are avalible, and checking out topos to see if any self respecting elk would live there.
Just got Nevada's regs today, I think I'll put in for one of thoses thousand to one odds super bull units ! Who knows, somebodys got to draw that one non-res tag !
I already put in for the single, hardest to draw tag in the state of Utah. New Mexico is next, then the other biggie, Az. With my luck, I'll put in with no luck for twenty years, then draw all four of them in the same year.
Anybody else playing the super tag lottery ?
