Hunting near China

I am leaving for China in 2 weeks. I'll be there for at least 6 months. Anybody got any ideas/contacts for hunting near China? Maybe in one of the 'stans? Marco Polo or other?
I'm not rich like BF but I'd like to take advantage of my location if I can.:hump:

I don't remember any details or logistics at all, but a couple years ago I read about elk hunting over there. If I remember right their elk is almost identical to ours, and the hunts looked really fun.

Don't think you'll have Much luck trying to hunt a sun bear..
They have sika deer though. Why not catch a quick flight up to the Kamchatka?

China won't let you hunt at all the last couple of years. The gov't doesn't wish to have a bunch of gun toteing thugs around.
Kamchatka, now there's some big bears!!!

Yeah you have to look into Mongolian elk. The advertisements were big back in the 90's not sure why you don't see it so much anymore? Has to be cheaper thean the sheep.

Someday, I want to hunt Ibex in the 'stans. If I was in Aisa that's what I'd look into.

Maybe you were joking, but.... we do have a careers tab and you can apply for a job. We do alot of work overseas so we have a bunch of 'are you a bad dude' type questions (other countries tend to frown on letting cons in). But we do have a huge amount of domestic work as well.
