I grew up hunting and fishing in Michigan and eventually as I got a little older I began to accompany my dad on out of state trips to Wyoming, Idaho and numerous trips to northern Ontario. The outdoors is just a part of who I am. Now mine and my dads roles are beginning to change, he is wanting me to do more of the planning and researching for our trips. last year I had a great trip to Idaho on a DIY archery elk hunt with my dad and a good friend. we did not punch our tag but for me that's ok, I realized that the planning and anticipation of a DIY trip and then going out and just having a good time is what I enjoy the most. I look forward to future trips out west and to Ontario as well as our annual whitetail hunts in our home state of Michigan. Thanks in advance for any advice I may get from the members of this forum.
