14-22" rainbows according to the internet. WYGF says the lake hasn't winter killed in over 4 years, should be a few tanks in thereWhat sorts of fish are we talking??
Any panfish?I love fishing Meebor, most the lake is around 5-6', you can watch tankers come up and take the bait all day through the hole!
Just trout stockersAny panfish?
One of my most memorable days there was a mid October day. Not too bad temp wise, but the normal 20-30 mph winds. I bugged out of class and went fishing for a couple of hours. I caught around a half a dozen fish before dark. Every single one was north of 20", and each one made at least one or two trips into my backing on a 5 wt fly rod.WYGF says the lake hasn't winter killed in over 4 years, should be a few tanks in there
Say that one three times as fast as possible!!?Olive Wooly Bugger with a bead head and black hackle.
Hattie has perch. Its right down the road.Any panfish?
It’s not as windy at Hattie either
Maybe the rainbows out of Lake Roosevelt. But for that matter, does any lake dwelling rainbow compare well to a brookie, ever?
Brookies are my favorite of the sort. I’d be very interested in catching those!50 v 40 mph.
Decades ago we found that August Meeboer trout weren’t nearly as good eating as brookies caught in nearby Snowy Range creeks. But for that matter, does any lake dwelling rainbow compare well to a brookie, ever?
So many stories of the wind on Hattie. It’s not as windy at Hattie either
