New to Hunt talk but have been a long time member and contributor to Monstermuleys (same user name) I am a fourth generation Colorado native with 13 years experience as a guide in western Colorado. I have also lived in Idaho, Wyoming, Oregon and have recently moved to Montana. I’ve been fortunate to hunt about every western state and multiple Midwestern and southern states. Looking forward to contributing the best I can around here.

I’ve been pretty spoiled with mule deer growing up in Western Colorado. Unfortunately, I don’t believe muleys are going to be on the upswing anywhere in the west for the foreseeable future. I think whitetail are going to have to be my focus as far as deer go since moving to Montana unless I stumble upon on a diamond in the rough…
