I've seen a couple in Sportsmans Warehouse but never shot them. Since it's a gas piston shotgun it should be able to cycle lighter shells. Online reviews, though limited, seem positive.

Some of the new shot technology makes for some very effective loads. Which is a long way of saying, you may have a far reaching fowler currently just need to change shells and chokes. I hope to never have to shoot another 3.5" 12ga...

i dont think were on the same page here. let me clarify. Howa does not make a shotgun. Howa makes centerfire barreled actions.
Hatsan produces Escort shotguns.
