So is that HCR priced similar to the Ruger Precision Rifle?

BTW, thanks for your response to my message about the .270 Multicam two months ago, I ended up getting a 6.5 Creedmore...

Sure would like to see a .243 wssm in that mini action series.

we dont plan on doing anything that potent. i do not know if the reduced receiver setup could handle that round. 6.5 grendel and 7.62x39 is the biggest we are doing in that platform.

Why did you choose to put slow twists for 223 and 243 on (all of your guns) a gun designed for long range? At a minimum ALL of your .223R and 22-250's should be 1-8" (1-7/7.5" would be better), and 6mm's should be 1-8" minimum (again 1-7/7.5 would be ideal).

That manufactures continue to be stuck in 1950's thinking is baffling. A 1-7" or 1-8" twist 223 will shoot great with every bullet from 35gr to 80gr. A 1-7" or 1-8" twisted 243 will shoot great with every bullet from 70gr varmint bullets to 115gr VLD's. Litteraly the most popular bullet in the Precision Rifle Series (the target market of the Ruger RPR and your biggest potential market for the HCR) is the Berger 105gr Hybrid- a bullet your gun can not shoot.

The biggest, WAY biggest, growing segment for bullet makers is long range, high BC bullets- both hunters and competitors. Not just your "long range" rifles either. There are a ton of hunters using lightweight 223's, 22-250's, and 243's for hunting that want to be able to use the high BC bullets.

Matt- I'd really read and think on what the Formid guy posted! After you "fix" the twist rates, use a mirror and start making a few in LH! ;)
