Well, fall bear kicks off on August 1st. I’ll get a tag, but don’t usually put in much effort expressly for fall bear. September is when grouse opens up, but I’ll be out of the country until the second week. It’s mostly deer scouting w/ a shotgun in hand. Then the big show in October for Blacktail season

Archery seasons open for me August 30, but my scheduled time off for elk doesn’t start until Sept 10. I’m debating either a fall bear bait or setting up a tree stand for whitetails to kill time until my elk hunt and for something local after

TN archery season (whitetail, if that needs to be clarified) opens end of September. It will be hot, humid, and mosquito and tick ridden, so I may not partake in the one weekend that I have to go.

WY mule deer and antelope open Oct 1, so hoping for more fall-like weather then

October 11th: Youth whitetail at home for kiddos

October 13th: Maine Moose (I'm the sub-permitee, but I'm absurdly excited)

October 20-Dec 14th: Hunt whitetails as much as I can get away with, including at least one remote tent hunt (hopefully more).

Drew a Montana moose tag and that opens for archery September 6th
and of course, if a bull elk walks in front of me while moose hunting, that starts September 6th.

Sept 1 I’ll be chasing sharptails and/or dusky grouse here in my home county in NW CO. It’ll be the pups first hunt over wild birds. Basically the day I’ve been looking forward to since I brought him home in February.
