I used PayPal exactly once. Self inflicted loss of almost $2000.
For me , it’s FTF or I don’t need it that bad.

If they won't take a regular check, I don't need it. I've relied on the feedback on LRH and so far so good, and my one purchase here was fine as well.
Paypal is anti-2nd Amendment, so a big no for me.

Depends on who I'm payin'...depends on who's payin' me...
i only use venmo, paypal, zelle, cash app, apple pay, FTF, money orders, wire transfers, third party, ACH, direct deposit, crypto, check, cash, credit, debit, . really anything. i'll even accept IOU's if i'm feeling frisky. i trust people. and i've only ever been burned like 2-3 (hundred) times
seriously tho, i really do use any of those. just be smart where you're receiving/sending money to.

Venmo or paypal, if i dont know the person i pay the little extra protection and dont use the freinds and family. to me its worth a little bit extra, only takes once

I've sold/bought quite a few items including about a half-dozen firearms with folks on here. Have got to say they've been about the easiest people I've ever dealt with in that regards.

Your not going to believe this crap! @It’s Bucky sent me a beautiful scope. I sent him a personal check the very same day. I received the scope on last Thursday, and the F'ing USPS has not yet been able to deliver the F'ing check!!!! If he doesn't get it today then another goes out priority mail on Monday.

Pretty tough to do when you're half way across the country. Other than that I agree completely.

There's no 100% secure means available as far as I can tell. A personal check in an account that has very little money in it is as good as anything.
If you have plenty of money in your checking account, and good history with the bank, they'll release the funds to you before it's cleared to them. And good luck getting them to tell you when it's actually cleared.
Money orders are a waste of time.

I should update my reply a bit. I do have PayPal and whoever you send money to does not need an account. Paypal will transfer the money to their credit or debit card. I prefer to use my credit cards when I can because the bank guarantees against fraud to a certain extent but losses on debit cards are on yer own. However, I keep minimum money in the accounts that I use debit cards online.
