Has anyone ever made their own crab pots? Heading back up to Alaska next spring and I think this time I'm going to try and make my own and in a way that is flying friendly. Any ideas? A lot of the homemade ones I'm finding via Google are using chicken wire and I'd much rather stick with coated wire mesh.
