When we initially installed, 2020, believe that a certain portion of the system had to be purchased, not necessarily operational to get the tax credit. Actually may have been 2019, because we didn't actually get fully operational until March of '20.

Definitely go with microinverters for each panel, alleviates shading issues and the power is now AC rather than DC so wire size is greatly reduced for transfer to the structure.
