Why is everyone else looking here?!?!? I am Talknig to Ithica .... ;)

Hey I went to the FNAWS banquet tonight. They, (Jerry actually) was talking about all the founders of FNAWS in Idaho and the 20 some odd years of whatthe organization had done and your name was in the top 3. Dr. BOB something or other brought your name up in his Speach later too too. I think he mentioned your name a couple times. Said something about 2 other guys, Names slip me (Sorry) then said "Ithica (Real name left out ;) ), The out of Stater that had great new Idea's and brought Idaho FNAWS to what it is today".

Anyways, My guess is you don't do much any more in the Organization with all the stuff you've done but Kudos to all the work you did in the past. Truley !!!!

Thanx man.

Thanks for letting me know. That was nice of them.

Yeah, I kinda got worn out, but it's been great watching one crazy idea 25 years ago bring a few guys together and turn into an Idaho statute that's raised over two million dollars for Idaho bighorn sheep so far.

...did they mention he did some tracking for Lewis & Clark?:D

J/K Ithaca, kudos.

When they started saying he was an Out-of-stater with different Idea's..... I was thinking "YAh, Some hunttalkers think that too" :D :D

Nice work Ith37. That chapter always impressed me with the quality of people.

Since moving out of ID, I let my FNAWS membership lapse....Probably ought to renew one of these days.

Ithaca,

Nice work. Its nice to be recognized for taking on such projects.

I wish more people appreciated the amount of work it takes to properly care for and manage wildlife.

Most bitch about having to buy a cheap resident tag...if they actually had to spend a couple weekends a year on habitat projects etc...they'd quit hunting and take up golf!

One thing they stated at the banquet that I'm sure most didn't take to heart was if you're just Buying a Tag and think you're doing something for Wildlife you're not. I'm guessing 3% ? if that actually help out in other ways.... The more I think about it I'm guessing that # is lower. I do some work but can't compair to alot of others. I've do some Bitterbrush/sage planting every year (Only once a year though :( ) and recently fawn collaring. That was more for fun, but it takes alot of hart work to get nets and supplies up.

There are alot of people that do a good job and never get mentioned. I'm not going to Stop Busting Ithica's nads for his comments on Hunttalk .. ;) , but Kudos to him and others here as well for actually doing something. I would start mensioning alot of others names but I'd leave someone out, so I'll say a global Thanx :D

LOL Moosie. Who here would think that?

Hey IT, How about giving some of that time you spend trying to get Hillary elected, to the wild sheep again? The sheep need you more than Hillary does!
