I don’t play many gun raffles. I’ve won 4 guns that I remember. Only one I still own was actually a credit towards a custom build. Flipped all the others.A build in cartridge of choice for the winner. mtmuley

Yes please!Surely you meant to be posting about a BOW raffle not a gun.![]()
I think it would prevent quite a few people. My opinion.Curious about everyone perspective here. We have an outfitter in WY who’s willing to donate a hunt to us, but his units take at minimum 5 points to draw. Not sure I’ve seen many raffles use a hunt like that.
But I’m curious if the points aspect of this would prevent you from buying a raffle ticket?
You definitely have a smaller pool of people that qualify. Personally, I would be out of the running. Unless there was a Disabled Vet option. Then there are multiple ways you drum up a tag.Curious about everyone perspective here. That would make it a lot more difficult. If I was going to buy 2-3 tickets for a sure thing I might buy 1.Curious about everyone perspective here. I'd buy the ticket, keep the rifle if I won, pass on the hunt if I had to burn points.Curious about everyone perspective here. We have an outfitter in WY who’s willing to donate a hunt to us, but his units take at minimum 5 points to draw. Not sure I’ve seen many raffles use a hunt like that.

I know I don’t need a guide but have used one just for the access to private. That being said it sure was a fun relaxing hunt with all the meals being ready for you. Plus I made new friendsJust food for thought, how many folks on here want a guided pronghorn hunt? We very well may not be your market for a that hunt. Most of us have experienced a pronghorn hunt and really don’t need a guided one.
Now a AZ or NM one? That is way more enticing than a WY one. It may get a lot more action for a NM landowner vouchers.
I've been quoted between $2k - $5,400 the latter being fully guided, lodging, and meals included. Heard of guy's snagging tags for less especially last minute. What kind of money does a NM voucher cost anyways? Anyone know?

I think tags on ranches that produce 80"+ pronghorn every year are north of $5k pretty easily.
Obviously, quality will determine price.
Bet if he picks one up a cheaper one for a raffle, buyers wouldn’t care as long as it was a NM tag. Lots of guys would drop coin off that alone.I think tags on ranches that produce 80"+ pronghorn every year are north of $5k pretty easily.
