And a padded visebrass rod and a hammer?
Tried that. Added some more lubricant and that helped a bit. I feel like a pusher tool would be my best bet but I can't find one that would work with the rounded barrel.brass rod and a hammer?
Elementary dear Holmes. If you can get it out, stick it in the freezer for a bit, then I bet you could tap it right in.
Oh I wish I would have thought about that at the start. If you can get it out, stick it in the freezer for a bit, then I bet you could tap it right in.
Oh sand bag may work to keep it from rolling. Some sights are tapered, you can measure the difference with a micrometer. I would remove it by laying it on sand bags and driving it out. Then try from the other direction.
At this point you could throw the whole rifle in a chest freezer and still make some progress I bet.Oh I wish I would have thought about that at the start.
Yup I tried going right to left. Then dug deeper trying to force it. I'll go back to trying to get it out. Then put it in the freezer then go in from the left.I have it in my head that they go left to right, you can usually tell with minimal pressure.
