Help! Stuck Dove Tail Sight

I had never heard of a HK300 but since I had a H&K in 308 that was a tack driver, I looked it up. Sounds like a pretty neat rifle.

If it was a semi auto its almost the exact gun. I gave my BIL one just like this 22 mag but in 308 win.

Mine was a different type - HK91 - but it was really accurate. I wish I hadn’t sold it.
