Sorry guys my fault.

If Vihtavuori or Hornady don't publish it probably isn't available. Look on LRH for info. mtmuley

I bet it was N560 or N570. Both are slow powders good for magnum loads.

Their site doesn't have any load data for 300 PRC.

Six pounds of powder for a rifle yet to be loaded for is pretty optimistic. Like I said look to the long range forums for info. mtmuley

Here is some data from QL. Lots can change from different variables, but somewhere to start.

Results caused by ± 10% powder lot-to-lot burning rate variation using nominal charge
Data for burning rate increased by 10% relative to nominal value:

Data is kind of scrunched.
at the +00.0 95%fill, 82.0 grains, 2883 fps, 3913 lbft energy at 56455 psi
So that said, I would start in the 79-80 gr range and work up from there. Never worked with N565,
but that method has worked for me on other loads with unpublished data with the one exception of
working up a load for 6.5PRC and RL26!
