The Goodyear MTs that came stock have almost 50k and are ready to be replaced before this hunting season. I live in Michigan and deal with snow/ice about 3 months out of the year. I make 3-4 trips per year to hunt out west. The Goodyear tires were okay. I had Cooper Discoverer AT3xlt on my 1/2 ton and loved them. Looks like those are being discontinued. Im potentially looking at the S/T MAXX or the Stronghold A/T. The PRO are too aggressive for me.

My priorities in a tire in order:
1. Puncture Resistence
2. Road Noise
3. Longevity
4. Trail ability
5. Ill put fuel economy on here, but almost left it off the list

It doesn't have to be a Cooper, buts thats what Ive had the best luck with over the last 10ush years. What say you?

Nokian Outpost nAT

60K warranty, puncture resistant sidewalls/tread from aramid woven in fibers, and not too heavy

Having a heck of a time trying to find the specific size that fits my truck. Seems GMC decided on an uncommon size: 305/70R18

For the Toyo Open Country AT3 I can only find that size in the EV version...

Falken Wildpeak AT4W
Currently have these. 275/60r20. They are a bit loud, but do well enough on gravel so far. Got them because the price was excellent compared to other comparable options.

I have noticed that my gas mileage did not improve with them, from KO2s with 75k on them. And also that any speed camera/sign I pass says I’m going 2-3 slower than my speedometer. Food for thought.

285/75r18 will be about the same diameter and a little skinnier. Should find plenty of options.
