Hi everyone! I've been hooked on the idea of a public land DIY western hunt for years, mainly inspired by some of Randy's OYOA videos. I've lived my entire life in north central TX and OK, and sitting in a tree stand or blind just isn't for me. I did not grow up hunting, nor did anyone else in my family, and I've been trying to learn everything I can in the few chances I've had to go hunting here without owning/leasing any land. I started getting into archery this year and went on my first spot and stalk archery deer hunt on a big public plot in SW OK. Had an amazing time and am really looking forward to continuing to learn and talking with folks here on the forum. Happy New Year everyone!

I’m not going to say the name because of how nice it is, but I probably hunt the same SW public spot. It’s been very good to me over the last few years.
