Heading out in the morning for early rut WT with Miss T

Heading out at dark-thirty tomorrow to check some scrape lines with my granddaughter . I get one morning with her since work called me to be in Pendleton at 5PM.
Hopefully we'll be packing something out before 11.

I had posted different pic of her glassing but she didn't like it because you could see her nail polish was chipped. Idaho girl!

Tried again for Sunday but the phone rang at 4AM and I was off to work again.

Miss T got her schoolwork done ahead and spent the night with us so we could go out today. I had a rough night with an oncoming gout attack and it was full on me this morning.
The sight me out in the woods with my trekking poles chasing an 11 y.o. girl, all while stage whispering, "Slow Down, It's not a race!" would have made me laugh if I had seen someone else doing it.

We saw 9 does but the shot wasn't there for a first timer.

It's proof that we don't have to swear if we live life like our G'daughter is with us. I wanted nothing more than to steam a steady blue sulfurous into the universe.

Now I'm here on HT and she is destroying her G'ma's kitchen making roasted acorn squash.
