Nothing like finding some ignorant people to convince them that half-lies and outright lies are "proven" fact. People are sitting in prison in Oregon right now that for the most part spent their lives playing well with the society as a whole but then a snake oil salesman printed out pocket, abridged versions of the U.S. Constitution with interpretations that just are not consistent with current case law. Soon, grown men and women were transitioning to seasoned welfare recipients where they now were entitled to get things for free from the Federal government and did not have to listen to the law of the land. Ponzi schemes are rarely that successful at getting adults to suspend skepticism when is "too good to be true" what you will soon get.
Consequences are a bitch. Most of those that took up arms against the government will die in prison if the Feds prosecute on every law which was broken. The Feds have something like a 99% conviction/plea bargain stat. They have 100s of lawyers on the payroll. The domestic terrorists are toast. The main future development is whether the Feds want to round up another 20 or 200 of the earlier participants from the Nevada standoff.
I hope the trials are swift since until people see the cold, cold consequences, the snake oil is easier to sell that the battle tide is about to turn. No, no one will be pardoned no matter who is elected President this year. No, no one will have charges dropped that held a gun in a menacing manner.
