I think a lot of the guys using Hammers in the 260 and 6.5 CM are using the 110's. Should be able to use some good powders like Varget and H4350 and push them 3100 pretty easily. What did you settle on for your .260?

I know you can find that info. mtmuleyNow that the tipped version has been out for a while has there been any negative feedback from them? Hoping it resolved the random penciling I experienced.
I’m lazy and curious but not that curious to do more work.I know you can find that info. mtmuley
You will be OK with Barnes. mtmuleyI’m lazy and curious but not that curious to do more work.
This wasn’t a jab at hammers, I’m genuinely interested. I told you the other day I’m done with Magnums and clearing stuff out. If it’s fixed the issue then it’s worth reconsidering them on the next project. You will be OK with Barnes. mtmuley
Not currently shooting the HHT but have some in every cartridge I shoot. Just haven't had time and my HH loads seem to work well. I will get to the HHT though. mtmuleyThis wasn’t a jab at hammers, I’m genuinely interested. I told you the other day I’m done with Magnums and clearing stuff out. I don't reload, but curious how they perform it your 9.3.I've emailed Steve several times what are probably "routine" questions and he has been prompt and thorough in explanation. I also just had a nice long chat with him on the phone this afternoon 7/15/25 specifically regarding different bullets, twist, coal etc for my 9.3x62. He answered on the 2nd ring and it was like talking to an old friend. These guys clearly stand behind their product and respect their customers which goes a long way for me.
I haven't hunted with these yet but I have a pile loaded in several calibers ready for ladder testing. I have little reservations about terminal performance and can't wait to see for myself. I just might convert religions from PB.
Just my .02 cents on the company and my experience so far... Hammer em.
I'll report back after I shoot them soon. 240gn Power hammers, I'm hoping to get around 2500fps.I don't reload, but curious how they perform it your 9.3.
He doesn't know, but he's expecting a 50 percent tariff on the copper, which will surely increase prices. How far ? Who knows.Curious on how much higher their prices will go with the tariffs

That is exactly what every hammer looks like. Once in a while a Barnes will shed the petals, Hammers are designed to...Cow elk, 168yd, 6.5 Creedmoor, Barnes 127gr TTSX, recovered from an aspen tree on the far side...not complaining, the elk only went 30 yards...

This, the hog deer may be small but they have very thick skulls, when fighting act very much like bighorn rams. Can confirm otherwise.
