Halo GPS Dog Fence...yeah or nay?

I went with a Spot On, and it mostly works good. But the delay is noticeable and if he's so inclined, can blow through the fence and get far enough away from it that it doesn't even got through the warning/shock routine. At this point I would say it's not worth the cost. The halo might have been better as there is more "drift" but a much higher contact frequency.

He's escaped 3 times, in a little over a month.
Huh. Are there different warming signals or shocks? My dogs get ptsd when they have the Spot Collar on. No escapes for three dogs. They’re trained. We’ll put on a dog when the battery is dead. The dogs all honor it.

he does most of the time, but when he gets really excited and hasn't been close to it in a while (close enough for the warnings), then he can sprint through it without any affects.
