Too residential for that , and they keep the rodent population down.Too close for comfort. I would have taken a shot with something other than a camera.
They are great hunters, cats, dogs etc. We have quite a few. As long as they stay in their space and away from mine, they are cool to watch. We had a family of them living in the wooded section next to us , but they seem to come and go .
We haven’t seen one in a while. I’m glad they’re back .

Shot them on sight on the ranch. I regret that now. We never lost so much as a chicken to one. Skunks and raccoons were another story.Too close for comfort. I would have taken a shot with something other than a camera.
We have rats down here attracted to the bird seed on the ground under my feeders .Shot them on sight on the ranch. I regret that now. We never lost so much as a chicken to one. Skunks and raccoons were another story.
It's good that you were able to keep them from your domestic animals. We get them in the cameras regularly. Like I said, if they stay in their place and not in mine they are great to watch.Shot them on sight on the ranch. I regret that now. We never lost so much as a chicken to one. Skunks and raccoons were another story.
Crazy how well it was camouflaged. I caught the movement when it jumped on the fence but it took me a couple seconds before I realized what I was looking at .Amazing how well they blend into their environment. Can see them when they are moving, but your eyes play tricks trying to see them when they stop.
