Went out to get my wife a buck..didn't find the one we were looking for...so we went on a doe patrol...my step-brother and wife and son were with me. I used my old .32 special...cowboy style on mine...my 4 year old loves it...he has seen a few animals go down this year..and a lot in his four years..can't wait for him to be old enough to take one..today was fun...new snow too.
My wife was shooting pics while we were gutting, B was, as always sticking his head in...found the heart...here are a few of that...

Thats awesome.... The little guy will remember that forever... Now, when you get to old to hunt hopefully he will be taking you...

Congrats Branden., looks like you all had a great day. Enjoy the days while he is little. He will grow up before you know it. My son is now 20 and seems to be gown most of the time. I remember his first one like it was yesterday.
It's great to make it a family event, congratulations again.

Branden, those are good times for sure.
I am here to tell you that the extra effort of taking a little guy like that to the field will pay off x10 here in the next few years. Good to see that the old 94 still gets to make some meat at your place.

Good job, Dad!

."Happiness is a gutpile". Maybe in need for a new bumper sticker. "Happiness is a 4 year old kid smelling a deer heart!"
