Season is winding down, dang it. Well, it wound down for pheasants but a few more days of duck hunting to get in.

These grounds are private land that were sold recently. I suspect it will end up a subdivision eventually. There are pronghorn running around out there sometimes, it'll be a real bummer when it gets developed.

I was southeast of ya Ben and the ticks were terrible. Ended up pulling 16 off the dog with only 4 hours of total time on the ground. One benefit to a wash and wear dog is they stick out and i can pull them as we hunt at water breaks.

Great feeling to be in the woods again, even if there were people everywhere. Huggler nailed it when he said Octobers are too far apart.
