I have the 64s. Cabelas had some great deals on the touch screen models this year but I've heard the touch screen versions don't acquire signal in dense timber very well which would render them useless to me for the most part. Keep it simple...
Yeah, this isn't true at all. I've never had an issue with my Oregon not locking onto signals within a few seconds or so. I don't see how the touch screen would affect the attena that is in it.
I would just like to reiterate: I have had zero issues with my Oregon 600 not being able to perform in just about any circumstance you could imagine.
