The Wyoming antelope should be a good hunt. I have always done well there on the walk-in areas just north of the Gurnsey turnoff and west of I-25. I screwed up and waited too long to get my leftover antelope tag this year, and they were all gone for the area I usually hunt. Bummer. Oh well-- You snooze, You lose!

Thanks all. I've spent the rest of the fall taking a friend out onto our farm and trying to get him on his first deer. We just haven't been able to get in a doe close enough to make a shot.

Its an interesting experience working with a new adult onset hunter. So many bits of knowledge that Ive come to take for granted over the 20 years I've deer hunted.
