Got a grouse

Yep.... I killed my first Ruffed Grouse Saturday. Funny thing about it was I was turkey hunting at the time and I flushed it. Since it was also the grouse opener I nailed it!

I will post a pic when the roll of film gets used.

Oh I also got a squirrel Sunday while Turkey hunting.... no pics taken but I am going back to deer hunting next weekend so I can see some turkeys.

Quit shooting squirrels and grouse and you might see some turkeys haha...

I have a similar story. This afternoon I went out for pheasants, but ended up with two sharpies instead. I flushed 9 pheasants, but they were all hens (what a bunch of crap).

The one thing I had better in SD than MT was the pheasant hunting. I am not complaining.

Congrats on the bonus game, it always adds to the hunting experience.
