Actually, I wouldn't call it good writing at all. Meant to put this in the other book thread.

Again, trying to keep it short and if possible, available free online (with a link).

My intent with this thread is to provide a source of good writing, i.e free and linked, so that if you're in the dentist waiting room you don't have to resort to Men's Mag, or some other rag.

But the annual lists are easy to search up and there are only a few I ever read more than once.

One of the best "sporting" books I've ever read was the ebook Mouthful of Feathers (v1). This was one of the better stories in it.

I miss honest mom and pop comfort food breakfast, lunch, and dinner eateries. They still somewhat exist in unfranchised structure but the ethos is long gone.

Caffeine is an appetite suppressant. 7 dollar plus tip caffeine is a budget depressant. We have a swarm of Starbucks, 7 Brew, boutique cutesie start ups here at home. My favorite West TX joint is The Buckin' Bean in Clarendon (on 287) about an hour east of Amarillo. A medium mocha latte is 5 bucks &'ll keep ya jittery to the New Mexico state line.

I had my wallet in my lap and when I looked up at that near nekid 20 something - MRS order left my brain.
I lost all memory of human speech patterns. MRS was howling with laughter at my failure of the manly art of lookin' while not lookin'.
