My intent with this thread is to provide a source of good writing, i.e free and linked, so that if you're in the dentist waiting room you don't have to resort to Men's Mag, or some other rag.Again, trying to keep it short and if possible, available free online (with a link).
Haven’t been very satisfied with my latest reads and the thread is getting long enough that I’m too lazy to check what’s been shared before.
Hey HT, pick up the slack. Nameless and I are carrying this thread ...

Maybe what we could do is try to talk @Big Fin into pinning, a curated list that contains nothing but links to the best hunting stories here on HT. Perhaps he could get @ Hunting Wife to do the curating. Just a list of links to the best of the best.My intent with this thread is to provide a source of good writing, i.e free and linked, so that if you're in the dentist waiting room you don't have to resort to Men's Mag, or some other rag.

I can't say I like that one.Hunter Thompson a few days before he took his life...
"No More Games. No More Bombs. No More Walking. No More Fun. No More Swimming. 67. That is 17 years past 50. 17 more than I needed or wanted. Boring. I am always bitchy. No Fun -- for anybody. 67. You are getting Greedy. Act your old age. Relax -- This won't hurt."

I can’t say anyone would, but it’s so like HST to pen it. He is nothing if not brutally to the point.I can't say I like that one.
