You get what you pay for...WGI cameras cost $10-12 each to make. 10 years ago the average price of a trail camera was in the $130-140 range. Now, thanks to WGI and Tasco, the average price is under $70. WGI intentionally went after the sub $100 market, because when they came out with cameras, virtually no one had a camera under $100. In order to keep up, most other manufacturers are now making inexpensive models...to do that they use cheap parts, and the cameras are lower quality.
