Gila monster

I thought it was gonna be a pic of a big bull in the Gila, which yes I have witnessed. Had to look up the lizards. I'll be on the lookout in Oct, Maybe?

I seen one once in AZ and got pics of it on 35mm buried somewhere. And once in Baja CA.

Saw a fellow in downtown Hot Springs, Arkansas with a two foot lizard on a leash. It was a detour and no eye contact moment.

I have seen 2. Both as a kid when I lived in Tucson. You really have to try hard and almost want to get bit by one, they are nothing to fear otherwise, they move like they are in no hurry. The name monster in not fitting to them
