You must pray to the right hunting gods! That makes your 5th year in a row drawing a rifle elk tag in NM right? those odds have to be in the stratosphere!

Well, I only pray to one God. He has blessed me in many ways and if he wants to give me any tag I’ll gladly accept it. If I have a tag in my pocket I’m going to give it my all. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn’t. On this hunt it did.
