When I press a link on the home computer from email or a website instead of opening a new window it just takes over the windows I have open already....

I have Windows XP home edition... I was wondering if someone can tell me how to adjust the settings if possible.

Try right-clicking the link and choosing "Open link in new window".

there is... Right click on it and click on "OPEN LINK IN NEW WINDOW" ;)

seriously though, it all depends on how the programer sets up the links I think. I think HuntTalk.com UBB's open them up in a new window. but alot of websites don't.

In 98SE it's:
Start> Settings> Internet Options> Advanced> uncheck 'reuse windows when launching shortcuts'

For XP it is similar Tools menu> internet options> advanced> uncheck 'reuse windows when launching shortcuts'

Oh and P.S. Sargent Modem and Colonel Printer too! :D

Sorry, I'm a bit punchy this morning.
