I was a GM guy for years and scoffed at my buddies with their Toyotas. Oddly all three of my Chevy/GMC trucks suffered catastrophic failures at around 100k miles. I spent the money and fixed the last one until I totaled it and bought my Tacoma. The Tacoma has 194k miles on it now, I have done some work to it and need to do the u joints again. I ran over a buck two weeks ago, no damage.
I’d like to get another 100k out of it because I can’t afford another truck.

Have gotten upwards of 300k out of a few nothing more than a water pumps etc. Gotta stuck with what works for ya

I'm going to dip my toe in the controversy pool and say Father Freak prolly not a good way to go either. I will just make the sign of the cross (subtle hint there) and leave it at that.
